The end of the spring term was marked by another ‘whole school progress assembly’ where a number of students in Years 7 to 10 were recognised for their outstanding work.
Academic progress in specific curriculum areas was recognised (Curriculum Leader Awards) as was outstanding commitment to learning across the curriculum (LIM awards). Additionally students in each year group with a consistent record of an outstanding attitude to learning were entered in to the ‘wheel of fortune’ draw for a reward.
As Easter was approaching, the rewards reflected a prize close to every man’s heart: chocolate. It is safe to say some of the Easter eggs may not have made it to Easter Sunday morning. Well done to all the winners and we look forward to recognising ‘great progress’ again at the end of the summer term.
